Terms of Service

Last updated 27 September 2026

These terms cover the engineering services we provide — fiber internet, solar power, CCTV, fire detection, network systems, web development and training — and the online payments made through this website.

Our services

MMY Engineering Services designs, installs and maintains engineering systems, operates a fiber internet network in Laoag City and Sarrat, and runs short technical courses and an internship programme. The service you are buying, its scope and its price are set out in the written quotation or service agreement we give you.

Quotations and site surveys

  • Surveys within our service area are free, and a quotation is only prepared after a survey or an agreed scope.
  • Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, because equipment and material prices move.
  • Prices depend on site conditions, cable lengths, roof access, existing wiring and material availability.
  • Any change you request after the quotation is confirmed will be priced and agreed in writing before the work is done.

Payments

  • Installation work usually starts with a downpayment that covers materials, with the balance due on completion. The amounts are stated on your quotation.
  • Fiber internet plans are billed monthly in advance, on your billing date. Current residential plans are ₱699, ₱999 and ₱1,299 per month.
  • Bills are payable through the subscriber portal, at our office, or by bank/e-wallet transfer.
  • Online payments are processed by PayMongo. The payment methods available to you depend on your bank or e-wallet account.
  • If a bill remains unpaid after your due date and the grace period shown on your account (three days by default), the line may be suspended until the account is settled.

Scheduling and access

  • Installation dates are agreed with you in advance. We may reschedule for weather, safety or material delays, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
  • You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, a power supply for tools where needed, and any permission required from a landlord, barangay or building owner.
  • Where you supply your own equipment or materials, we can install them but we cannot warrant their condition or performance.

Fiber internet service

  • Speeds quoted are the plan speeds on our network. Actual throughput depends on your devices, Wi-Fi setup and third-party services you use.
  • The connection is for your own use. Reselling it, sharing it outside your premises, or using it for anything unlawful is not allowed, and we may suspend the service if that happens.
  • We may interrupt service for planned maintenance, upgrades or repairs, and we will give notice where we can.

Workmanship and warranty

We warrant our workmanship, and the equipment we supply carries the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period that applies to your installation, and what is covered, is stated in the service agreement you sign at handover. Warranty work does not cover damage from lightning, flooding, power surges, tampering, or repairs done by others.

Training and OJT

  • Course schedules, duration and fees are confirmed when you enrol.
  • Certificates are issued to participants who complete the required attendance and requirements.
  • OJT placements are subject to available slots and to the standards of the trainee's school.

Liability

We are responsible for doing the work we agreed to do, with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost data, except where Philippine law does not allow that limit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job or service in question.

Delays or failures caused by events outside our control — typhoons, power outages, transport disruptions, supplier failures or similar — are not a breach of these terms, though we will still tell you what is happening.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. We may update these terms; the version on this page, with its date, is the version that applies.
